Hi IBGgraphix,

I am surprised to hear that you had trouble getting your tutorials to work. I sent you a private message through the helpdesk to get this issue sorted out.

Mark, I don't feel ripped off however, I do feel slighted. If you offer these videos (over 15 videos to set up your website) for free why did I pay you over $200 for Dreamweavermadesimple courses I have not yet received? This was supposed to be a special price after taking a webinar. Still waiting my total package.

I do not feel riped off at all. You have done a lot of work and I think you should get paid for it!

Mark: NO - I just got DW CS4 from you and it is great. I can now begin to practice what I've been going to school for the last 2-1/2 years and hopefully be able to develope something to show I know a little about what I'm doing. I do not believe that just because it is FREE it is the best you can get. I'm glad for those who put tutorials on YouTube but it is always more comforting to know I purchased mine the right way and no one was ripped off. It is up to me to utilize the application or it becomes useless and money spent for nothing. Keep doing these tutorials also and you'll be the envy of the masses!

I have just started looking into making a website, i did minor work in websites a few years back, im currently setting up an in house server from scratch to host my soon to be website and I have been browsing the website looking for a place to start learning about the new Dreamweaver. There are many videos on you tube and other sites that show how to do some things but they are all in peices, there are no 1, 2 ,3... 10 videos to show how you go through the full setup. that is to be expected as these people are not being paid to put it out, if you made a video and put work into it (i dont mean a few hours but rather the weeks it takes to produce this type of tutorial) then i have no doubt you would want to sell it rather thain give it away. I work in the retail sales demographic and I know first hand that customers who truly do not have any idea how to do a task or are to afraid to take chances will be very happy paying 100 or 200 bucks to do somthing as simple (to some) as setup a wireless network. While other customers who are more adventures and mechanically inclined would scoff at the idea and call it a rip off, i see it as a rip off when i think about it. but the truth of the matter is to those people who truly need the help it is a god send and a requirement for them to be able to use there computers. the same applies here, just because a few who are more inclined than others say its a rip off, in no way diminish the value given to those who truly need it. I myself do not plan to buy the videos im one of those adventurous types, but from what i have seen on this site so far the videos are very clear, clean, to the point, and most importantly produced by someone who wants to make a good video for the novice or the customer who does not want to spend weeks adapting to the learning curve.

The comment above by Ray brings this to mind: To all of you who are looking to buy any kind of computer software. maintain your system and don't be so hasty to blame the developer of said software for problems that are related to 'your' system, the free videos in this case are hosted on you tube, in no way related to 'his' code its just an embedded link. your problem is most likely an outdated browser or a outdated plugin such as flash player. Please ensure the problem is not on your end before bashing the creator of what ever software you can not use.

I don't know if I was ripped off. I can't even watch the free ones without your stupid player locking up my system. How am I supposed to trust you to tell me how to write a site when your own doesn't work.

Mark: I don't feel ripped off a bit! I have intentions of buying your full set. Let me explain: I work for an up and coming company that is tipically struggling to get off the ground and started in this economy. Yes, I guess I could search the web and youtube for tutorials which is how I started. But time is money. I'm trying to build our company's website using dreamweaver 3 which is fairly old. Not easy to find good tutorials pertaining to that version. I have viewed my first videos that you sent and found them user friendly and most importantly, informative. There's always going to be people that don't see the value of time in the equation. I thank you for your efforts. You are making my job a little easier! I look forward to be able to purchase the full set. Buffy Fischer

Well, some people are not very observant. I watched all the You Tube videos before I bought the tutorial. I noticed there was needed information that seemed to be purposely left out. I assumed that the You Tube versions were a sample so we would know what to expect. Of course the tutorial that you can reference again and again is much better and the support provided is invaluable. You've done well. Keep it up! I think I'll go buy the dream Weaver Advanced platinum package right now!

I saw the Tutorials on YouTube and bought them as a way of saying "thank you" - I keep getting free advice from you and this is much appreciated - so please - keep up the good work! Dreamweaver is complicated for the uninitiated and your tutorials help so much. I was going to sign up for an expensive webisite design course - now I'll try your course for a fraction of the cost.
I bought also because everyone deserves appreciation for their work in whatever form they choose - money or not.
The more people who do buy - the easier it is for guys like you to keep going. Spreads the load.
Thanks
